Firstly, I’m glad you went the scripted route for this ranking video, it really works! Great last video. Secondly, your retrospectives (especially Kazooie and Tooie) are some of my comfort videos that I watch very often or listen to while going to sleep. So thanks for those. Good luck with the new project.

The big problem I had with this game was that the level design was a bit flat, in Banjo Kazooie, the levels were centered around one central landmark, the ship in Rusty Bucket Bay that spills oil in to the harbour, the giant metal shark that serves as Gruntilda's garbage disposal in which you can enter inside, The giant snowman which you have to climb, with Yooka Laylee there was no central landmarks, just seemingly segmented sections stitched together with no rhyme or reason for it.

6:25 I think it’s interesting that Rare did try to include Tooty in Tooie as she can be seen in very early storyboards for the game’s opening cutscene, but she was probably cut due to well.. being kind of pointless when it came to the games plot since Grunty had a good enough reason to go after the duo without Tooty being a factor. I do have to wonder if the cut Tooty epilogue, had it actually been made would’ve kept her character a little more relevant.

They really need to make another one of these games or a good solid remaster of the old two Banjo games. My very first video game was Banjo Kazooie at age 5. It's so close to my heart, like no other video game.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't find anything offensive about Humba Wumba's character. However, since I'm not Native American, there might be nuances that I miss. If Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie ever get remade, I wonder how they'll handle Humba. Will they strive to make her politically correct and inoffensive, or will they remove her altogether as if she never existed?

One thing I would recommend for new players as well is UHS, the Universal Hint System. It's a very old school website for point and click adventure games like thing (and other games more recently) and is all about helping you through games without giving you the solutions outright. While all the solutions are there if you do need them, each puzzle has a chain of hints written for them to just nudge you in the right direction so you can still get the satisfaction of solving the puzzle yourself. For my part it really helped with some of the especially obtuse endgame puzzles like pulling up the Lamancha.

Underrated? This is like the only Kirby game i see people talk about, especially from people who aren't kirby fans (from my experience)

My friends and I would love doing City Trial free run and basically act like mafia bosses owning their own territory. If someone left their claimed area and tried to enter someone else's, war would quickly begin and chaos would ensue the whole map. No one could start out with a legendary vehicle, but you could still use one if you could fight your way to the parked vehicles since no one could own that area and anyone who entered it would be considered trespassing on everyone's turf at the same time. It was so much fun and so chaotic, we went for hours on end.

I'm so glad that Air Ride has been gaining more traction online as of late. I've adored playing it ever since I could remember, and it's making me giddy seeing more and more videos a out this game

I think making the collectables a list to one side, so that the gameplay footage is larger would be better, as it is - I feel that the gameplay footage seems rather small. I'm here for the gameplay, not the list of collectables aquired (which is still interesting). Nonetheless, interesting video.

I cannot count the hours that me and my siblings spent playing Kirby Air Ride when we were kids. It's one of my favorite "party games" to ever exist, right up there with the SSB series. To the point where the "checklist item complete" sound is one of the notification sounds on my phone, so I kept thinking I was getting emails while watching this video lmao
